14th Century Trestle Table Plans

This project is of medium difficulty. Trestle tables goes back as far as Roman and Greek times. They however became popular in the Middle Ages. The reason for their popularity was that they could be take apart. This meant you could use the space for something else when the table was not in use. During the middle ages generally people would eat and sleep in the same hall of a castle. So these tables made sense. The whole castle was generally designed for defense not for comfort. Any wood would work for a trestle table, but Ash might be a good option.
