Calendar Frame Plans and Video

This calendar frame is a project that demonstrates the use of simple joinery. The frame is held together by simple, but strong half-lap joints. The design of this frame allows you to load the calendar from the front. Traditionally frames need to be removed from the wall every month to load the calendar from the top. He does all the joinery with a single bit on the router table.

This frame is made to fit calendars that are roughly 13 1/2″ x 24″ open.
