Cupola Plans

Most cupolas are purely decorative. They are a great way to breakup the visual uniformity of a roof. However the older ones were built for decoration as well as ventilation. In the days before roof vents, cupolas were the best way to ventilate a barn, stable or even a house. These Cupola plans can be used either for ventilation, if you cut a hole in the roof or just decoratively. These plans are structurally simple and most woodworkers should be able to build them without any problems.
