When bending wood, you should know that there is a chance of breaking the wood. With some types of wood you can break up to 30% of the planks that you bend. You can change the percentage of planks you break by changing the thickness and type of wood that you use. Thinner wood is better. Also do it slowly not quickly. This method will only work with smaller pieces of wood. The size is restricted by the size of your microwave. But remember you can glue smaller pieces together to make larger pieces. Thicker pieces can be made by layering the wood and longer pieces by using joints.
