How to Stain Wood with Baking Soda

In the video below you will learn how to make new wood look older. This simple baking soda stain is one of my absolute favorite ways to “stain” your wood and it’s great for making newer wood appear a little more weathered and aged. It’s also a non-toxic homemade stain that’s super easy to use and doesn’t cost much to make. In fact, you probably have everything you need on hand!

Another non-toxic way to age wood is with tea and vinegar, I just find that baking soda is easier and ages better with the wood. But if baking soda doesn’t work for you try the tea and vinegar method.
