These plans are for an oval poker table, which is a versatile and popular configuration. This is a nice weekend project, so not too lengthy or difficult. To keep the cost down, most of the table is made from Pine. The part of the desktop that you can see however, should be made from something attractive like Birch or Oak. If you have a jigsaw that will make this project much easier. Cutting the oval desktop for the table is just much easier with a jigsaw.
