This isn’t an expensive build. It was designed to be made mostly with inexpensive 1 1/2″ (38mm) wide pine furring strips. I like the look of that antique colored wax. Really makes the cabinet look older and more expensive. It might be a good alternative to using stain. Also the top that opens up for easy access is nice. It’s not always great, if you need to bend down to open a drawer.
