These plans are based on a desk from Pottery Barn. That desk costs $800 while the material costs for this project is only $75. So you can save a lot by doing it yourself. The desk might look like a bigger project, but when you brake it down there is nothing there a beginner should not be able to do. Below the desktop you have 2 dividers. It creates 3 slots into which you can put papers books or whatever you like.
