These plans are for a simple box that looks like a book. The size of the box is such that a stack of 4×6 standard picture prints will fit inside it easily. The woodworker that created the plans wanted to make several of these boxes to give as presents. The project uses standard size boards and straight cuts. The hinge is on the back and the ‘spine’ of the book is painted to hide the hinge. You can ad optional clear Velcro fasteners to the box to keep it closed when the box is standing on it’s side.
