This end table is mostly made out of ash and walnut. The table is a great way to use a particularly attractive board as the tabletop. A redwood burl or a rich walnut board could work well. The project features butterfly inlays and wedged tenons. If the board you want to show off is longer you can convert the plans to a coffee table by shortening the legs and lengthen the stretchers.
