I like the look of the Diamond Plate Aluminum Tread, it looks really tactical in there. Clever using the hardwood molding. It looks good. It’s a fairly cheap build at only $35 in material costs. This project isn’t very difficult, a beginner should be able to do it. The trickiest part is how the hinges work without pressing against the wall, when opened.
