In this video Paul Sellers shows us how to make a shooting board out of pine. This is an important piece of equipment for woodworking, it allows you to make sure that the end of a board is either exactly square or exactly forty-five degrees. When you plane a board on a shooting board it also stops ‘break-out’ on the far side.
There is a mistake on the video at 1:47 the middle measurement should be 12 1/2″ or 320mm.
