Treadle Lathe Plans

These plans are basically for woodworkers who prefer to use traditional tools instead of power tools. You provide the power to turn the lathe by stepping on a foot pedal. The material used is mostly pine which makes it cheap to build. There are just a couple of parts that need to be stronger and are therefor are made of oak. The build has a lot of parts, so it’s not for beginners. The plans come with extra plans for a scroll saw or maybe more of a jigsaw extension. It cuts using a coping saw blade.
